IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police arrested 29‐year‐old Ana R. Costilla for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor domestic battery following a domestic dispute Sunday evening.
The Idaho Falls woman was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
Police reports show officers responded to the 2200 block of Stace Street for a report of a domestic disturbance around 7:41 p.m.
Costilla and her 25‐year‐old husband got into a verbal argument that turned physical, according to police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen.
During the altercation with the man, Costilla scratched the left side of the man’s face and threw a knife at him. The knife didn’t make contact with the man.
There were no other injuries other than the scratches, Hansen said.
Costilla is being held on a $300 bond. She was arraigned Monday.
