IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested 32‐year‐old Jason W. Nebeker for burglary and felony malicious injury to property after he damaged three buildings and burglarized a bank during the early morning of Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Nebeker of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to a burglary alarm at U.S. Bank, 585 East First St., around 3 a.m. Bank security observed a male, identified as Nebeker, via a video feed smash an exterior window with a garbage can and enter the bank. Nebeker used a drinking fountain and walked around inside the bank before leaving.
Officers located him near 4th and Holmes Avenue.
Nothing was reported stolen at the bank, police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said.
During their investigation, officers learned that Nebeker also damaged two windows at the Shiloh Foursquare Church, 205 S. Holmes Ave., and a door at Padron Counseling, 550 E. 2nd St. #152, prior to the entering the bank.
Total damage to all three buildings is estimated at $2,800.
