POCATELLO — Officers responded to 1730 W. Quinn for a report of a man who had reportedly been stabbed with a knife by another male.
The Bannock County Sheriff’s Department Bearcat was deployed to assist police in locating the suspect, according to an Idaho State Journal report.
Pocatello Police began searching for the suspect in nearby Chubbuck in the Sawtooth Street area as well as near the University Bible Church on Philbin Road, according to the Idaho State Journal. The search grew to include Interstate 86 and mobile home parks in the Philbin and Quinn Road areas.
The suspect, Mark Bradford Cooper, fled and was located a short distance away from the scene.
Cooper was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery, according to a Pocatello Police news release.
Neither the victim nor the suspect sustained life threatening injuries, according to the news release.
This investigation is still ongoing at this time.
