POCATELLO — Pocatello Police arrested Burke Ryan Bailey, 39, for felony telephone harassment and five counts of unlawful entry.
The Pocatello man entered the OMNI Business Center at 324 S Main St. after hours of operation. While inside the building, Bailey obtained the phone number of an employee at the OMNI Building, police spokesman Lt. Ian Nelson said.
Nelson said Bailey called the individual and allegedly started harassing them. Bailey then left the Omni building.
Nelson said police made contact with Bailey on Friday afternoon, and cited him for unlawful entry.
Bailey was arrested for telephone harassment.
Bailey is being held at the Bannock County Jail. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17.
Nelson said officers posted several photos on the police department’s Facebook page of a man suspected of illegally entering the Omni Building.
He said police received multiple calls and tips from social media users within a couple hours of posting.
“We’d like to thank the public and especially those who helped spread the word about this case online,” Nelson said.
Nelson said police were able to reach more than 10,000 people through social media.
Police have no further information to release at this time.
