Authorities searching for escapee from Nampa Juvenile Corrections Center

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections is searching for a 15-year-old juvenile who has escaped from the department’s correctional facility in Nampa.

Paul Herman Hendrix was last seen at 12:10 p.m. Saturday.

It is unclear how he escaped from the facility or where he might be headed.

Hendrix is white, 5’6” tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a maroon shirt and black shorts, according to a news release.

Hendrix was incarcerated for second degree arson, criminal conspiracy and petit theft in March 2016.

He was one of four teens who were sentenced for setting fire to the home of Payette High School Principal Mark Heleker in February 2016, according to KTVB. All the teens were charged as adults.

Anyone with information about Hendrix’s whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.
